We sequenced the genomes of five Proteobacteria isolated from Lechuguilla Cave in New Mexico. Genome-based phylogeny indicates that each strain belongs to a distinct genus. Two Rhizobiaceae isolates possess genomic potential for the biosynthesis of acyl-homoserine lactone.
