Editorial on publishing papers in Evolution

After more than two years attempting to speed up the manuscript review and publication process at Evolution, I thought that I would share some of my observations. If you know the sorts of things that can go wrong, and avoid them, your paper will probably be reviewed more rapidly, will more likely be accepted, and be prepared for the printers more rapidly.
