Enterprise-oriented computer supported cooperative work system and its application in real enterprises

A real Enterprise-Oriented Computer Supported Cooperative Work (ECSCW) System has been introduced, and its design ideals and functions are described. It may provide information system with platform for the integration. Some case studies, such as BPR with CSCW and Total Quality Management with CSCW, have been conducted in several enterprises of China. The results show that this system can facilitate people to accomplish cooperative tasks in an organization at different time and different places a great benefit can be achieved by using CSCW system and it has an wide application perspective.
