Familial Cushing's disease

Two sisters, who presented with pituitary-based Cushing's syndrome in their second decade of life, are described. The family shows no current evidence of a familial syndrome of multiple endocrine neoplasia such as MEN I. Familial Cushing's syndrome based on pituitary disease has not, to our knowledge, been described previously, even in families with MEN I.
