Formation of callose deposits as a response to infection with Phytophthora cinnamomi

journal contribution
posted on 1983-02-01, 00:00 authored by David CahillDavid Cahill, G Weste
Papillae were produced as a response to root inoculation with Phytophthora cinnamomi in most resistant but not in any of the susceptible plant species examined. A sequential study of their production demonstrated that rates of formation and frequency varied with the degree of host resistance. Their morphology and cellular location are described.
