From the Chair

Greetings! The vote for the merger of ACM-SIGMIS and ACM-SIGCPR (Special Interest Group on Computer Personnel Research) is upon us. Please look for a postal mailing of the proposal letter detailing the merger and a ballot to be issued by ACM. I strongly recommend you vote in favor of the proposed merger, if you have not already done so.The merger will strengthen SIGMIS. In particular, we will gain an annual conference, which I would like to broaden to include general topics of interest to the MIS community. I would like you to consider attending this year's conference.
