Greetings to SIGMIS members and a warm welcome to CPR (Computer Personnel Research) members!As you know, our merger with SIGCPR became official in July 2002. Please join in welcoming CPR members at "The Second Annual ACM-SIGMIS Reception: A Special Welcome to CPR," to be held as an ACM-SIGMIS event prior to the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS2002) in Barcelona, Spain, December 15 - 18, 2002. Light refreshments will be served.Finally, I would like to extend a warm thank you to our Information Director, Parag C. Pendharkar who worked very hard at maintaining our SIGMIS website. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce and welcome Diane Lending as the newly appointed Information Director.We encourage and welcome your active participation in SIGMIS.
