Model of Addressing Methods for Network Operating Systems.

The paper presents a possibility of extending the object model constructed for centralized operating systems to network operating systems. Such an extension is possible by taking into account new types of logical resources introduced by a computer network (resulting from messages used for interprocess communication and synchronization) and data structures describing the location of resources within a network. A model of addressing methods for network operating systems is also proposed. The need of solving problems mentioned originated from the project on constructing a module making it possible to extend centralized operating systems in such a way that the access to remote resources in local networks is provided.
