Modeling of Complex, Discrete Poduction Processes Based on Automata Theory.

The paper is concerned with the description of complex, discrete production processes based on methods of automata theory. A model of the operation and properties of the modeling automaton are given along with types of automata used for modeling of some formalized operations corresponding to large groups of real technological operations. The problem of interactions among automata is considered. It forms the basis for the abstract description of the structure of a production process.
