This paper deals with the problem of robust stability for a class of nonlinear neutral time delay systems with convex polytopic uncertainties. The time-delay is assumed to be a time-varying non-differentiable function belonging to a given interval. By constructing a set of improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii parameter-dependent functionals and using linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, new exponential estimate for the robust stability of the system is established. The delay-dependent sufficient conditions for the robust stability of the systems are presented in terms of LMIs. A numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of the result.
