Preparation of dimethyl dioxirane used in epoxidation of some natural compounds with carbon - Carbon double bonds

Dimethyl dioxirane was prepared with potassium monoperoxy sulfate and acetone. The dioxirane was successfully applied to the epoxidation reactions of some natural compounds with carbon - carbon double bonds. The yields of the reaction were quite good and almost no by - products were detected.
