Sinif ogretmenlerinin cocuk edebiyatına iliskin gorusleri

The purpose of this research is to determine the levels and interests of primary school’s teachers to children literature and the teacher’s situation of using this literature. Children literature is a field of literature which on the one hand support the cognitive, emotional, personality and social developments of children on the other hand starting and continuing process of art education. The level of interest of teachers to this field may result in the interest of and the use of these products by the children.The population of this research was primary schools in Tokat province. The sample of this research was comprised of that was reachable. A questionnaire of “Views of teachers about the children literature” developed by the researchers was used to collect the data. The Cronbach-Alpha coefficient of the questionnaire was .79. The data were interpreted using the frekans, percentage and arithmetic means. These data showed that although teachers believe in the necessarity and importance of children literature and answered the questions as “I participate ” and they know what should be done in practice ideally, they do not follow the new writers and products of children literature and they do not usedifferent this products in practice.Key Words: Children Literature, Primary School’s Teacher, The Situations Of Using The Products Of Children Literature. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin çocuk edebiyatına ilişkin görüşleri / Views of Primary School's Teachers on ChildrenBu araştırmanın amacı, ilköğretim birinci kademedeki öğretmenlerin çocuk edebiyatına duydukları ilginin ve bu edebiyattan yararlanma durumlarının belirlenmesidir.Çocuk edebiyatı, çocukların bilişsel, duyuşsal, kişilik ve toplumsal gelişimini destekleyen bir yandan da sanat eğitimi sürecini başlatıp devam ettiren bir daldır. Öğretmenin bu dala olan ilgisi çocukların çocuk edebiyatı ürünleriyle karşılaşma durumunu olumlu yönde etkileyecektir. Araştırmanın evreni Tokat il merkezinde bulunan ilköğretim okullarıdır. Örneklemi ise bu evrenden ulaşılabilen okullar oluşturacaktır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen “Öğretmenlerin Çocuk Edebiyatına İlişkin Görüşleri” anketi kullanılmıştır. Anketin Cronbach- Alpha katsayısı .79 olarak bulunmuştur. Verilerin yorumlanmasında frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama teknikleri kullanılarak ortalamalara göre yorum yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, öğretmenlerin çocuk edebiyatının gereğine ve önemine inandıkları ve bu bağlamdaki sorulara “Katılıyorum” düzeyinde cevaplar verdikleri, çocuk edebiyatı uygulamalarına ilişkin idealde olması gerekenleri bildikleri halde yeni yazar ve eserleri takip etmedikleri, uygulamada çocuğa yönelik farklı eserlere yer vermedikleri görülmüştür.Anahtar Kelimeler: Çocuk Edebiyatı, İlköğretim Öğretmenleri, Çocuk Edebiyatı Ürünlerini Kullanma
