posted on 2003-01-01, 00:00 authored by J Beckmann, Dainis Dakternieks, Andrew DuthieAndrew Duthie, K Jurkschat, M SchurmannThe dimeric tetraorganodistannoxane [<i>n</i>-Bu<sub>2</sub>(F)SnOSn(F)<i>t</i>-Bu<sub>2</sub>]<sub>2</sub> (<b>1</b>) was prepared by the reaction of (<i>t</i>-Bu<sub>2</sub>SnO)<sub>3</sub> with <i>n</i>-Bu<sub>2</sub>SnF<sub>2</sub> and characterized in solution by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy and ESI MS spectrometry and in the solid state by <sup>119</sup>Sn MAS NMR spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray diffraction.<br>
