Methods of solving boundary value problems in metal under treatment by pressure are considered. Extremum theorems of variational principles are formulated. The variation-iteration method of determination of temperature field in the deformed body is described. A digital realization model of the methods described is given. The model is tested on the example of parallelepiped settling.
