The elimination of memory effects by employing the cleaning agents CH3OH H2SO4 (4 + 1 v v) and NaF (1%, m v), and a separate cleaning cycle, has been investigated, and found to be effective when using totally pyrolytic tubes. Boron was successfully determined in plant samples at the microgram per gram level. © 1991.
