The museum of falling is a so-called museum of things each of which hold and express some idea of falling. The things in this museum range from a book on how to profit from the falling dollar to a ruler from Falls Idaho; from a photo of a falling child to a tape of a production of Henry Miller’s After the Fall. Pound’s collection-based artworks investigate all the ways in which things might be found and made to hold ideas. These works also test how collections and collectors and curators and museums might aggregate things differently to express ideas.
