In two new complexes of Mn(II) and Zn(II), it has been observed that carboxylate (O)...π interactions played a crucial role in the organization of supramolecular structure and that carboxylate (O)...π interactions also somehow controlled by the C-H...π interactions, which is achieved by proper modulation of the linkers. © 2014 Indian Academy of Sciences.
