Upgrading the Nordic corporate governance model for sustainable companies

The contribution of companies is necessary to facilitate the shift from ‘business as usual’ and onto a sustainable path.2 The pressing question is how to achieve this without jeopardizing the dynamic role companies have in the economy and society as a whole. This article builds on comparative company law research and indicates one way forward through an upgrading of the Nordic corporate governance model.
