Spatial narrative theory holds that design and linguistics have similar characteristics,and it is a complex narrative ideographic system with specific paradigms and methods,which has been widely valued and applied in the teaching of design disciplines in recent years. Space narrative and meaning is required course of Melbourne university and Deakin university’s Architecture education which combing environment design history with spatial narrative theory,emphasize through personal experience and critical thinking in case studies,attaches great importance to the transformation training of narrative means in class and guide the research design with questions.These experience helped students to better grasp the subject ontology,concept and some basic principles and provided research methods to their design studios with broader thinking and vision.
