Biophilic design built into new Melbourne Metro stations

Melbourne Metro railway stations will be the first piece of Australian public infrastructure that will include the consideration of biophilic design principles, boosting Melbourne’s ecological credentials. The 'Creating Healthy Places' study by deakin University researchers was used to develop guidelines authored by Dr Roos for the five underground stations being constructed as part of the Metro Tunnel project.
