Re-vue is a mutilated love-letter to the film’s form in address to the the act of seeing itself. It is shaped as a response to, and in dialogue with, Mike Hoolboom’s Color My World ( 3 minutes, 2017, Canada) A flicker-fest lamenting a lost relationship with narrative cinema, by which it is forever marked. Yet there are hints for a way back in this age of surveillance.

In terms of International Impact Between December 2017 and November 2018 Re-Vue was shown at 12 international film festivals of which Clermont-Ferrand and Ann Arbor were the most prestigious. Revue was the only Australian short shown at Clermont-Ferrand, the largest International Short Film Festival globally. Ann Arbor is the longest running experimental film festival in North America, and Re-Vue was selected for their Touring program and their official DVD.
