In July 2021 the Department of Education and Training (DET) commissioned Deakin University, Federation University and Adult and Community Education Victoria (ACEVic), the state-wide sector peak organisation, as a research team to conduct a mixed methods research project to evaluate the current Pre-accredited Quality Framework (PQF) in Victoria.
The revised Adult Community Education Quality Framework (ACEQF) is informed by the findings of the Qualtrics surveys of managers, coordinators, trainers, and learners and a series of focus groups held with DET Regional teams and Learn Local managers and coordinators. The key design elements of the proposed revised ACE Quality Framework are informed by the stakeholder consultations and are outlined below.
