The purpose of this evaluation report is to examine the effectiveness of the Avalanche family violence training system on the immersive learning experiences of members of Victoria Police. The results demonstrate that the Avalanche system enhanced knowledge about family violence, the options available to respond to family violence incidents both internal and external to the law enforcement agency, and the intricacies about behaviour associated with family violence. The dynamic modality of the Avalanche system offered an immersive learning opportunity, thus enabling learners to collaborate and create new meaning with the information provided.Publication classification
