This report is a summary of the activities, results, and recommendations of the “Cultural Inventory of Xieng Louang Cluster, Dakcheung District, Sekong Province” as commissioned by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and carried out by the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre (TAEC). This consultancy took place over a period of seven months, from June to December 2018, and included desk research, training of government officials, and two field trips. The objective of this activity was to create an initial inventory of the intangible and tangible cultural heritage of this area, and help foster awareness and appreciation of the living cultural resources by locals, both young and old, women and men.Publication classification
