Background International Law Issues Arising for Telenor in its Sale of Telenor Myanmar to Shwe Byain Phyu through Lebanon-based M1 Group Contribution Overall, it is our view that there is a serious concern that decisions have been made without full examination of the consequences we have outlined in the memo. The proposed sale of Telenor Myanmar merits serious scrutiny by every business that has anything to do with Telenor or M1 Group and all those states who profess to commit to business and human rights principles.
