This thesis investigates innovative 3D interaction techniques to enrich virtual reality (VR) experiences with museum objects. It assesses the effectiveness of passive haptic feedback for intuitive freehand interaction, using cost-effective camera tracking. The results indicate that passive physical tools enhance usability and user experience, making VR an immersive tool for interpreting museum objects, accessible to diverse audiences.
