This study investigated several screening methods to classify the parametric requirements of pharmaceutical powders for use in 3D binder-jetting printers. This structured approach led to the development of a quantitative framework with a major focus on powder flowability and wettability. Several pharmaceutical constructs were successfully printed using this novel framework.
