A Flash Life: Exploring Female Understandings of Home Through Experimental Memoir

This thesis explores opening up the memoir. It investigates how experimental memoir has a particular capacity to accommodate both collective and individual senses of belonging. A process that involves writing to and between a series of interviews with female expatriates whose lives intersected with my own was developed.
