Abscisic acid regulation of plant defence responses during pathogen attack

thesis
posted on 2004-01-01, 00:00 authored by Peter G. Mohr
The plant hormone abscisic acid (ABA) was shown to have previously unknown and important regulatory roles on an extensive array of plant defence responses. The suppressive effect of ABA on these defenses profoundly affected the outcome of interactions between plants and pathogens of differing lifestyles and from different kingdoms.
