Acute health service utilisation in diabetes mellitus in western Victoria, Australia

Diabetes is a rapidly growing chronic disease globally and in Australia. This doctoral project provided new insights into predictors of acute health service use in people with diabetes in western Victoria. It highlighted target areas for its prevention and improved primary care management to reduce reliance on public hospital system.
