Adult students’ experience of learning mathematics in rural Australian vocational education and training (VET)

This study investigated vocational based mathematics education among adults as a construct in the field of educational psychology. The study sought to better understand the factors that influence students' experience and how mathematics education in VET might be improved. The findings point to a disconnect between the regimes that currently govern education within Australian VET institutions and the experiences encountered by students.
