Amplification strategies in point-of-care electrochemical biosensors

This thesis focused on experimental validation of co-facing gold electrodes, which could determine the concentration and diffusion coefficient of a limiting redox mediator in solutions of unknown viscosity. Based on this electrode system, two novel calibration-free sensors were developed for direct thrombin and factor-Xa inhibitors in point-of-care settings.
