An Exploration of Indonesian Preservice Teachers' Professional Learning Experiences

This thesis explored whether practicum experiences jointly provided by university and partner schools in Indonesia create aligned and integrated professional learning for preservice teachers. Findings revealed that role separation and misaligned expectations created disconnected learning experiences for the preservice teachers, and brought about dilemma, conflict and critical conflict that impacted their emotions and identity development.
