An exploration of Employee Assistance Programs in the modern workplace

This research explored the role and use of Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) in modern organisations with the view to informing effective evaluation approaches. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, the thesis proposes regular assessment of individual and workplace variables in addition to utilisation and barriers to usage as a means of evaluating EAPS.
