This thesis examined the relationship between sporting participation level (non-athletes, recreational, semi-professional, professional) and subjective wellbeing, which included measurement invariance testing, and explored predictors of athlete wellbeing. Significant differences for all investigations were evident, indicating that participation level influenced wellbeing measures, the importance of predictors, and wellbeing scores amongst athletes.
