An investigation into short polymer fibre production in fluid systems

This study advanced the understanding of the fundamental mechanisms of short fibre formation and developed both analytical and computational models. These models allow for predictions of process outcomes to be made. The knowledge and tools developed have been utilised in the scale-up procedures of the process by our industry partner.
