An investigation of the Australian experience of adolescent violence towards parents and the potential links with youth justice

This thesis provided a comprehensive exploration of Adolescent Violence Towards Parents (AVTP) within Australia and the relationship between AVTP and other young offending. The findings highlighted the complex interplay of characteristics of families who experience AVTP, and determined that AVTP often occurs in the context of broader anti-social behaviour.
