The Polar Effective Plastic Strain (PEPS) Fracture diagram incorporating a non-quadratic yield surface is developed and utilized to predict the onset and location of failure in highly anisotropic materials and provides a scientific basis for the accurate prediction of fracture in thin sheet metal for multi-stage industrial forming processes.
