Aristotle's Protrepticus in the Christian Tradition: On Ancient Spirituality and its History

This study investigated the reception of Aristotle's Protrepticus in the Christian tradition with the aim of shedding new light on the ancient conception of 'spirituality' and its history. The results suggest that Aristotle conceived philosophy as spirituality and his later reception did not influence the decline of such tradition.
