Assessing the strain experienced by managers and professional Australian footballers using an augmented job strain model

This thesis aimed to examine the strain experienced by managers and professional Australian footballers using a generic model of occupational stress, the Job Strain Model, that had been augmented by job-specific stressors. Three studies were undertaken and the results provided only moderate support for augmenting the Job Strain Model with job-specific stressors.
