Association of overweight/obesity in the development of physical aggression in children and adolescents

The studies contained in this thesis provided support for evolutionary and social dominance theories of aggression in childhood and adolescence, and the findings indicated a significant association between overweight/obesity and physical aggression in children and adolescents, even after controlling for a number of well-established risk and protective factors.
