Associations between growth and diet in adolescence

Given the high variability in dietary data and the generally adequate nature of the diet, few associations between diet and growth were found during adolescence. Nevertheless the intake of dairy food was a significant positive predictor of height gain and highlights the importance of an adequate intake of dairy foods.
