Associations between parameters of skeletal muscle and cognitive function

This thesis presents epidemiological evidence about sarcopenia in the general population. The thesis also contributes to the field of enquiry by addressing an interesting scientific question: �??does the brain deteriorate as the muscles deteriorate?�?� and provides epidemiological evidence for links between physical and mental or neurological health in older men.
