Auditing, financial reporting quality and investment decisions of small private companies at different life--cycle stages

This study develops understanding between auditing, financial reporting quality, investment efficiency and life cycle stages of small private companies. The findings highlight the importance of auditing and the quality of financial information on investment efficiency particularly at rapid growth stage to owner-managers of small private companies and policymakers.
