This thesis explored applications of contemporary sampling tools and analytical techniques with new methodologies and data inputs to derive more accurate benthic habitat maps and assess their role of deciphering patterns in fish assemblages. The findings provide methods for more reliable habitat maps at scales relevant to marine spatial planning.
