Beyond Vulnerability: Young Filipinos' Leadership, Roles, and Struggles in Disaster and Conflict Settings

This study examines how young Filipinos are rendered vulnerable in disaster and conflict settings. It illustrates their actions and inactions through the structure-agency divide. The findings reveal that despite their exclusion from crucial risk mitigation, youth overcome barriers through peer groups, social ties, and leadership, practising individual and collective agency.
