Biogenic Emission of Halocarbons by Phytoplankton from the Maritime Continent

This research provides the first atmospheric data collection of four halocarbons that influence the climate in the Maritime Continent. Phytoplankton communities and diversity have been studied using the latest New Generation Sequencing technology. Up to nine different volatile organic compounds have been detected in 22 different unialgal cultures.
