Carbonized fibre-ceramic composites as joule heating tiles

The study used a novel one-step firing method for preparing the carbon fibre/ceramic composites that could greatly reduce time and energy consumption. The composites have a good electro-thermal conversion performance which have potential application in indoor climate control heater.
