This research is about palliative care in humanitarian crises. It draws on personal stories from Gaza. In protracted war, what are: meanings of suffering, illness and dying; trade-offs in deciding how/to whom to deliver care; values/cultures that shape caring; and ways in which communities provide care? It emphasises listening to those facing crisis to understand their palliative care future.
