Characterisation of biological signalling molecules from complex seawater matrices

PhD project developed analytical methods for the chemical investigation and identification of biologically relevant compounds from complex seawater matrices. These methods were centred on determination of key compounds responsible for mediating differential sperm chemotaxis in the Blue mussel.
